Quinceanera Dress Styles

One of the most exciting tasks for your Quinceanera is choosing your dress! This is your day and it's important to choose a dress that you love and are comfortable in. We've come up with a short description of several popular dress styles and few examples of each.

A-Line

Like the name suggests, this dress's silhouette is in the shape of an "A". This style is classic and universally flattering on all figures.

Empire

This style is similar to the A-line with a lifted waistline that begins below the bust and a skirt that flows gracefully to the floor. This silhouette is great for elongating petite figures and disguising a bulky midsection.

Sheath

This form fitting style falls straight to the floor and hugs your silhouette, it's perfect for those who want to show off or create the illusion of curves.

Mermaid

The top of a mermaid style dress is identical to that of a sheath dress but the bottom has a fun skirt that flares out at the knee. This style is best avoided by petite figures because it can shorten your appearance.

The Ball Gown

Last but certainly not least is the ball gown, the epitome of Quince dresses. This style is the most traditional of all the styles with a fitted bodice though the waist and a full princess-like skirt.
